Alison Milbauer, D.C. is a Denver chiropractor who serves Denver and the surrounding communities in CO .
Alison Milbauer seemed to grow up very much like other children in Long Island, New York—she had a keen interest in athletics and excelled academically. But when her intense training and competing as a gymnast and swimmer taxed her body, chiropractic always seemed to help.
What set Alison apart from her peers was that her parents knew the importance of good health and had always provided her with a home-life rich in wholesome nutrition, exercise and chiropractic care.
Some years later, Alison’s passion for winter sports pulled her to the mountains where she completed her bachelor’s degree in nutrition at Colorado State University. A life-long science student, with a study emphasis in human nutrition, Alison was looking to apply her knowledge further. She committed to an additional four-year academic program: a doctoral degree in chiropractic. She graduated from Life Chiropractic College in 2003, and returned to her second home, Denver, Colorado, to establish her practice.
Dr. Milbauer, D.C. enjoys traveling with a backpack throughout the world in order to get the true flavor of each unique culture. She has visited Europe, South America, New Zealand, Australia, and the Orient. Recently she has visited Nicaragua and El Salvador to provide her unique brand of natural health care to those most in need of help. She speaks Spanish, and celebrates the diversity that makes Denver such a cosmopolitan city.
A passionate advocate for natural health care, Dr. Milbauer, D.C. brings her own life experience to play in her personal, individualized, patient care. She also believes strongly in a team approach to helping patients. She is certain that the best healthcare team consists of the doctor as team leader, the patient, and often an acupuncturist, massage therapist, personal trainer or other health care professional. As team leader, Dr. Milbauer, D.C. always has the patient’s optimal health foremost in her mind.
